MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The family representative of kidnapped Huntsville, Alabama, realtor Ronald Dumas Jr., who vanished a year and a half ago, says the arrest of another suspect on Tuesday was not a “big surprise.”
Dumas’ cell phone was tracked to Memphis, where two others have been arrested in connection with the case, but he has still not been found.
This week, U.S. Marshals captured another suspect, Toure McLaurin, near Lansing, Michigan.
“We don’t hear a lot from law enforcement; we just know they are actively working the case, so this was great news yesterday to find out that Toure had been arrested and that HPD was working on getting him extradited back to Madison County,” said Troy Styles, Dumas’s family representative.
Styles said details on McLaurin’s arrest are limited, but an official with the Ingham County Sheriff’s office confirms McLaurin was arrested Tuesday by U.S. marshals…
