MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is now dead after being hit by a car in Raleigh, which also caused a road block and traffic delays early Wednesday morning, police confirm.
Officers say they responded to a crash call in the area of Egypt Central Road between Raleigh Millington Road and Kerwin Drive just before 5:20 a.m.
They say a male pedestrian was walking eastbound on Egypt Central Road while a vehicle was driving westbound. Police say the vehicle was coming over a hill, and the driver did not see the pedestrian before hitting him with the vehicle.
Egypt Central Road is currently blocked in both directions…
