Family still seeking justice for missing father found dead

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s been 9 months since the disappearance and death of Memphis father Robert Grove.

Tuesday night, his family says they are still fighting to make sure those responsible for his death are brought to justice.

WREG spoke to Robert Grove’s sister, and she says since her brother’s death, it’s been a difficult time for her family.

Grove was reported missing last October, and his body was discovered in November, abandoned in a garage.

Since then, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. The teen’s mother, Bridgit Ann Riley, was also arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact.

Tuesday, the family told WREG another minor was also involved in Grove’s death.

“They supposedly met online, and it was a robbery from the beginning. We thought it would be closure with them finding somebody, but to tell you the truth, it only made it harder to know that y’all did it. $180 is what y’all stole from him,” said Racquel Jackson, Grove’s sister…
