Mississippi fugitive arrested after firing shots at Baptist East hospital security, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Mississippi fugitive is in custody and faces multiple felony charges after allegedly firing shots at hospital security officers in East Memphis early Thursday morning.

Memphis police said shots were fired at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East security officers just before 2 a.m. in the hospital’s parking lot. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The suspect, Brandon Lark, 37, was later arrested in Horn Lake, Mississippi, on outstanding misdemeanor charges out of Tunica County.

Lark now faces additional charges in Memphis, including aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun…
