Memphis Hope to Flourishing City works to eliminate poverty

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Governor Bill Lee and Memphis Mayor Paul Young came together on Friday for the public launch of a statewide initiative aimed at helping families move out of poverty for good.

The Human Flourishing Initiative officially kicked off Friday morning at the Salvation Army Kroc Center on East Parkway. State commissioners, faith leaders, and dozens of nonprofit partners were all in attendance.
