Southaven is moving forward with plans to build its first indoor tennis facility, according to a recent city blog post by Mayor Musselwhite. The project aims to expand the city’s tennis offerings and attract regional tournaments.
The city hired UrbanArch Associates to design the new facility, which will be located on a 10-acre site adjacent to the current Snowden Grove Tennis Complex. The site will extend northward to include the existing pro shop, with plans for eight to 10 new courts, central offices, a pro shop, concessions, locker rooms, and an elevated spectator area.
