MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A gang member with a lengthy criminal history pleaded guilty this week to being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm as an Armed Career Criminal.
The charge comes with a 15-year minimum sentence, says Western District of Tennessee U.S. Attorney D. Michael Dunavant, who announced the plea Friday.
Dock Exum, 50, a member of the Gangster Disciples, was pulled over by Memphis Police officers on Sept. 30 last year because his vehicle had fraudulent tags, Dunavant said.
