WEST MEMPHIS, Tenn. — West Memphis Police were on the scene of what appeared to be a standoff in the 500 block of Weaver Drive, near Weaver Elementary Sunday night.
WMPD has not released any details about the large crime scene, but a WREG crew could hear police repeating, “This is the West Memphis SRT. Occupant of 513 Weaver, please come out with your hands up.”
The Crittenden County Sheriff’s was also on the scene. The police department was spotted flying drones over the residence.

At one point, our team watched as officers moved into the home, but it’s unclear whether anyone was taken into custody.
