COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) – Taxpayers will fund nine months of former Collierville Town Administrator Molly Mehner’s salary as part of a mutual separation agreement following her sudden departure, according to public records obtained by Action News 5.
Under the terms of the agreement, Mehner will receive nine months of pay starting eight days after the document’s Sept. 18 signing, alongside a lump-sum payout for accrued, unused vacation and personal leave.
The settlement includes a strict mutual non-disparagement clause barring Mehner from criticizing the town, while legally prohibiting Collierville elected officials and employees at or above the director level from criticizing her character, competence, or quality of service.
