MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A retired Shelby County Criminal Court judge has passed away at the age of 93.
WREG confirmed with a mutual family friend that Judge Arthur T. Bennett passed away Monday at the Baptist Memorial Hospital.
His life was filled with public service, as he attended Howard University Law School in 1964 and returned to Memphis to practice law.
