WATCH: Out of control driver nearly takes out utility pole in Arkansas

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a reckless driver who slammed into a utility pole Tuesday afternoon.

The crash at the intersection of Mound City Road and Wheeler Road was all caught on camera.

In the video, you can see a speeding driver in a white SUV lose control and slide off the road into the power pole.

Crittenden County Sheriff Mike Allen said the driver damaged the Entergy pole but was still able to operate his vehicle. Allen said the driver turned around, got back on Mound City Road, and headed back to West Memphis.

A witness said the driver had an out-of-state tag, possibly from Colorado.
