Men attempt to rob, fire shots at woman’s car in Collierville

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Multiple men followed a woman to her Collierville home, tried to rob her and fired shots at her car Tuesday night.

Collierville Police say the incident happened near Peterson Lake and Nolley Drive a little before 11 p.m. The victim stated that the suspects wore ski masks and were in a white Jeep Cherokee.

She believes they followed her to her house. Once she arrived at home, the Jeep drove in her driveway. They demanded her car, but she refused.

The victim managed to get away, which resulted in the suspects firing multiple shots at her vehicle.

CPD was notified of the shots and pursued the suspects. They followed the car to Poplar and west to Byhalia, where it fled south to Highway 385.

The pursuit continued westbound on 385 to Forest Hill Irene, where the vehicle blacked out, and officers lost sight. CPD says there were no tag plates found on the Cherokee.

WREG received camera footage that captured the sounds of the gunshots (sound on).
