MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 45-year-old woman died earlier this month after she was shot 11 times but not before she helped officers make an arrest, police said. Chejuana Tate was shot Dec. 21, 2023, and died about four weeks later on Jan. 13, 2024, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
