Burglars cut hole through liquor store’s backdoor, steal goods, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Burglars cut a hole in the rear entry of a liquor store, police said, before getting away with goods overnight. The crime happened about 2 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Budget Liquor Store on the 400 block of Summer Avenue near Mendenhall Road, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
