“I can’t believe that it happened to me,” Williamson exclusively told WREG TV in December 2023.

She explained that hackers were able to “absolutely drain her account” within two to three hours.

On November 9, Williamson explained that her phone had frozen so she went to use her Macbook, which when she opened, had a Trojan warning on her screen.

She proceeded to call Apple IT.

When speaking to the supposed Apple employee, they informed Williamson that she had been hacked and the person now had her information.

“‘They got your social security number, they got your bank account information,'” she recalled.

“So what we need to do is try to put hold on your account and contact your bank.”
