Search warrant leaves 3 men arrested on drug charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men are in custody after a search warrant was served in North Memphis by the Memphis Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit Drug Team 8 and VICE Team last week.

Kelvious Lindsey, 39, Rantavious Johnson, 21, and Tarris Rice, 20, were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver/dell-marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver/sell-psilocybin, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property under $2,500.

On January 26, around 3:45 p.m., the search warrant was executed in the 1400 block of Bryan Street.

MPD says during the residence search, detectives recovered three pounds of marijuana, 12.4 grams of mushrooms, two Glock 43X 9mm handguns, and one Sig Sauer P226 9mm handgun.
