MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department remembers officer Geoffrey Redd one year after his death while on duty. Officer Redd is remembered best for making the ultimate sacrifice while serving the citizens of Memphis. Redd was shot after responding to a trespassing call at the White Station Library.
