No arrests made after protest blocks traffic on I-40 bridge, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – No arrests were made after a demonstration Saturday afternoon shut down traffic for hours on the Interstate 40 bridge in Memphis, police said. According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded about 3:10 p.m. to the I-40 bridge and found “a large group of protesters” that was blocking traffic in both directions.
