SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A man is in custody after being accused of tying up and physically assaulting a victim for two days at a house in Southaven, Mississippi.
According to the Southaven Police Department, Brian Damron was taken into custody on Monday by their SWAT team.
Around 10:30 a.m., officers say they responded to Dela Drive regarding an unlawful confinement and aggravated assault.
SPD says the victim had multiple injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The victim stated that Damron mixed drugs and alcohol, causing him to pass out. That is when they were able to escape.
Damron also had a criminal history of numerous violent offenses from other states including unlawful imprisonment, assault second degree under extreme emotional disturbance, wanton endangerment, and burglary third degree.
