FARGO – Two people from Memphis were arrested in Fargo after authorities conducted a high-risk search warrant related to a fugitive investigation. The raid was performed by the Red River Valley SWAT team just after 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12 in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue North, according to a release from the Fargo Police Department. The SWAT unit was assisted by the Metro Street Crimes Unit, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and The U.S. Marshals Service. Terrica Thompson, a 35-year-old woman from Memphis, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for second-degree attempted murder, the release said. Christopher Butts was also arrested during the raid. The 41-year-old man from Memphis was detained for an outstanding federal warrant for charges related to narcotics and firearms.
