Suspect wears high school hoodie in Walgreens theft

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are wanted in two thefts from area Walgreens stores, and police one of them was wearing a hoodie with local high school logo.

Police say two people walked into the Walgreens at 4625 Summer Avenue at 11 p.m. Feb. 6. They made a purchase and, when the cash drawer was open, one of them snatched the cash.

One of the suspects was wearing all black. The other, police said, was in a red hoodie marked “Class of 2024 Raleigh Egypt High School.”

The same pair are also wanted in a theft at another Walgreens at 5080 Stage Road the same day.
