Shooting in East Memphis leaves man critically injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is seriously injured after a shooting in East Memphis Tuesday.

Memphis Police say officers responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Helene Road at 12:41 p.m. They later said the shooting happened near Perkins and Quince.

The victim was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and transported to Regional One Hospital. He is in critical condition.
