“One of the most racist people I ever met” – Jason Williams hilariously calls out his former Grizzlies teammate

Jason Williams is one of the most unique players in NBA history. While his numbers don’t exactly jump off the page, his flashy style of play always caught people’s attention, and he played a significant role in helping the Miami Heat win the 2006 NBA Finals.

Prior to his time with the Heat, Williams really came into his own with the Memphis Grizzlies during his four seasons with the squad. Despite his rise, Jason apparently encountered a rather racist teammate in Wesley Person along the way.

Person was primarily a three-point specialist during his career, and he overlapped with Williams in Memphis for a season and a half. During their lone full season together, Person knocked down a whopping 43.3 percent of his threes, which was among the best figures of his career.

While J-Will may have played a helping role in Person’s strong season, he may have held a bit of bias against the guy known as “White Chocolate” due to the color of his skin. The former Grizzlies guard revealed that Wesley was one of the most racist people he knew.
