MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was left critically injured after a shooting near Lamar Avenue and Getwell Road on Friday night.
According to Memphis Police, around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4000 block of Eagle River Road.

Officers found no victims on the scene but later discovered that a man had been taken to Baptist East Hospital by a private vehicle.
The male victim was listed in critical condition.
MPD says the suspect left the scene in an older model SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
