Memphis, known for its vibrant rap and hip-hop scene, is shown a lot of love from its artists in song.
Rapper Juicy J, who hails from North Memphis, mentions the name the most in 54 songs.
Perhaps the song “Memphis Made Me” by Juicy J comes to mind, where the rapper says, “Memphis was the case that they gave me / Ridin’ ’round my city like it’s game three.”
