3 hurt in Midtown crash, including child; 1 ejected from vehicle

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three people, including a child, are injured after a crash that caused an ejection in Midtown Friday afternoon.

Memphis Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Union Avenue at East Parkway South at 3:05 p.m. Police say one person was ejected from a vehicle.

Hit-and-run crash leaves man dead in Berclair

One person was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, police say. Another person was taken to Methodist University in non-critical condition.

Memphis Police say a child was also injured in the crash. The child was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in non-critical condition.

Officers are diverting traffic from the scene. Memphis Police ask that drivers avoid the area as officers investigate.
