MPD looking for trio involved in laundromat robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a trio of suspects they believe robbed a woman at gunpoint at a laundromat on Sunday.

At approximately noon, officers responded to a robbery at 3154 Perkins Road at Wash World Laundry.

They were told that a female victim was robbed at gunpoint inside the laundromat.

The suspects fled in a silver Hyundai Sonata. According to the police report, several minutes later the same vehicle and suspects robbed a second victim at the corner of Perkins Road and Aloha Avenue.

Police have provided the following descriptions of the suspects:

  • Suspect #1: An approximately 5’7-5’9″ male wearing bright green shorts, a dark hoodie and black shoes.
  • Suspect #2: Male wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, blue pants and white shoes.
  • Suspect #3: Male wearing a red hoodie and black pants.

Police say no arrests have been made, but this is an ongoing investigation.
