MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is accused of shooting his girlfriend in the leg while at a motel on Wednesday.
Bond decrease denied for alleged Beale Street Shooter
Torie Clark, 33, is charged with Aggravated Assault and being a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun.
Wednesday, officers responded to a shooting at Motel 6 on South Pauline Street.
The victim told police that Clark, her boyfriend of three months, had shot her in the leg. She was taken to the hospital, where she identified the suspect to police.
A Smith and Wesson gun was found inside the hotel room, records show.

According to MPD, Clark pled guilty to Aggravated Burglary in April of 2013.
Torie Clark is set to appear in court Thursday morning.
