MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WZTV) – A wanted man out of Memphis was arrested in Mt. Juliet on Friday afternoon with the help of a K-9 officer. Officers conducted a traffic stop on E. Division Street near Mt. Juliet Road for a license plate violation which led to a foot pursuit and the arrest of a 27-year-old convicted felon. The suspect took off on foot when an officer asked him to get out of the vehicle because of a “strong marijuana odor.”
