MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Tropical Storm Francine is officially a thing, and the impacts of it will move towards the Mid-South starting on Wednesday night. Just before 10 AM on Monday, September 9th morning, Tropical Storm Francine was officially named by the National Hurricane Center. The sustained winds of Francine are 50 mph with gusts clocking in at 65 mph.
