Henigan excited to take on Florida State

MEMPHIS – Seth Henigan has pretty much seen it all in his four years at Memphis.

Saturday may be the biggest test of them all. Henigan and the Tigers on the road at famed Doak Campbell Stadium against a disappointing Florida State team looking to salvage its season.

Did I mention it’s a sellout Saturday?

But ever since he was in high school, Henigan has always seemed to better when the games get bigger. That’s why he and the Tigers are so amped up for this roadie to Tallahassee. As the Memphis quarterback puts it, it’ll be good on good.

Time for the Tigers to show they are for real this season.

“It’s really important to me personally just because I feel like it’s a great opportunity to put it on tape, put on display what I can do and what our team can do. What our offense is capable of,” Henigan said. “I feel like we haven’t fully clicked yet as an offense. So just trying to go out there and do the best we can against a good team.”

Henigan plans to have he and his teammates raise their level of play this weekend because rarely does a Group of 5 team get a chance to compete against a team from the Power 4, let alone a team like FSU.
