1 injured after fire leaves Bartlett apartment engulfed in flames

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — At least one person was injured after an apartment went up in flames early Thursday morning in Bartlett, according to the Bartlett Police Department.

The City of Bartlett says the fire broke out at the Quail Ridge Apartments on Egypt Central around 6:16 a.m. One resident was taken to the hospital suffering from minor injuries.

Bartlett Fire Department requested help from the Shelby County Fire Department and Germantown Fire Department due to the fire fully evolving. They are surrounding the fire because the structure is destabilizing.
