Memphis Grizzlies’ G League team appoints new head coach

The Memphis Hustle announced the promotion of T.C. Swirsky to head coach ahead of the 2024-25 G League season.

Swirsky, who served as the team’s lead assistant last year, takes over following the promotion of former head coach Jason March to an assistant coaching position under Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins.

Swirsky, a Chicago native, has been with the Hustle for three seasons and previously served as the head video coordinator for the Memphis Grizzlies from 2019 to 2021.

His familiarity with the Hustle and Grizzlies organizations has made him a natural fit for the head coaching position.

New coaching staff assembled

Swirsky’s coaching staff for the upcoming season has also been finalized. Danielle Boiago and Nick Covington, who served under Jason March, are returning from last year’s staff. Newcomers Jack Hostetler and Rob Sanicola join them.

Sanicola brings experience from his time as head coach of Southern Maine’s men’s basketball team, where he spent the last two-plus seasons.
