Tunica County Crash Leaves Both Drivers Dead

On Monday, September 23, 2024, Tunica County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident. The accident involved two vehicles and was located at the intersection of Highway 713, Casino Center Extended, and Kirby Road in Robinsonville, Mississippi.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Unfortunately, the accident was severe and both drivers did not survive the collision.

According to a press release from Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, the names of both victims have been released and the families have been notified. The drivers were identified as Nicholas Paul Stafford, 29, of Tate County, and Ruby Gene Watney, 36, of Tate County.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office extended its sympathy and condolences to the families of both victims in a social media post.

Tunica County Sheriff’s Office also urged the public to use caution while driving and to remain alert and obey traffic laws.
