Woman accused in drive-by shooting facing 6 attempted murder charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman accused of shooting at a house full of people is now facing six attempted murder charges in connection to the crime.

Khadijah Lavel Morrow, 30, was arrested on Monday and charged with six counts of Criminal Attempt Second-Degree Murder, Employing a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun, and Reckless Endangerment (discharging a firearm from within a motor vehicle).

On October 4, just after 4 p.m., Memphis Police responded to a call in the 3100 block of Yale Avenue in Binghampton. One of the victims on the scene told police that she had been in a fight with Morrow, which she said ended with Morrow hitting her in the head with a brick.

Reports say that after the fight, Morrow told the victim she would kill everyone in the house.

Morrow left the home in a black Ford Fusion, but 30 minutes later, she returned in the same car and fired several shots at the house and everyone standing outside. There were no injuries on the scene, but the house was hit multiple times.
