Hubs will provide resources to voters experiencing challenges with Election Day voting
A nonpartisan coalition of 40 groups from across Tennessee announced in a media release their plans to provide support to voters on Election Day by way of six “election hubs” located across the state.
CivicTN, a public interest group organized to promote voter turnout, says it is working in coalition with other nonprofit groups to provide resources to any voter experiencing difficulties or challenges with exercising their right to vote on Election Day.
The hubs will be located in Chattanooga, Clarksville, Knoxville, Memphis, Murfreesboro, and Nashville.
“We want to ensure that every voter who intends to cast their ballot on Election Day has the support they need to do so, without delay or frustration,” said Matia Powell, Executive Director at CivicTN. “Our hubs will serve as both a resource for voters and a place where volunteers and organizers can come together to make sure voters can cast their ballots safely and securely and ensure that every vote is counted.”
