MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A sailor stationed at the Naval base in Millington is asking for help finding her beloved dog, who ran from a bad car crash Monday night in the Hickory Hill area.
Petty Officer First Class Violet Jones and her dog Bo were returning to Millington from South Carolina when she ran off the road at Riverdale and Snyder, hit a pole and fence, and flipped her vehicle. She said she doesn’t remember the crash or even getting off the interstate.
“I walked away, and I’m telling you, it’s nothing other than God’s grace,” said Jones.
Jones said when she woke up in the hospital, she found out her dog was gone.
“I learned that when the firefighters were busting me out of my truck, my dog took off and ran,” said Jones.
