Second man arrested in connection to stereo store burglary

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Days after one suspect was arrested for breaking into multiple businesses and stealing nearly $60,000 in merchandise, another was apprehended on Friday.

Ralphael Boddie, 41, is facing multiple charges, including burglary of a building, convicted felon in possession of a handgun and theft of property for his alleged part in the burglaries.

According to reports, on October 29, around 7 a.m., Memphis Police responded to a burglary at Stereo Sounds at 1331 Getwell Road.

They say the suspects entered the business by ripping the security bars off the windows. The suspects then stole around $59,000 worth of radio equipment, car alarms, and audio equipment from the store.

On November 6, just before 8 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at 3268 Democrat Road at AOSOM.

MPD says the suspects took several items from the business and fled the area in the same vehicle used in the burglary at Stereo Sounds. One of the suspects returned to AOSOM an hour later to steal additional items.
