The Criminal Who Fell Through The Attic Ceiling Into the Waiting Hands of the Law

I read this story and thought it was so funny that I had to share it with you all. According to the NPR News, law enforcement got quite a shock and a stroke of luck when the criminal they were pursuing literally fell from above.

The suspect, Deario Wilkerson had been successful in fleeing from the long arm of the law up until this point. It was reported that the suspect had been pursued for months to no avail. Finally the suspect would come to pay the piper.

20-year-old Deario Wilkerson had been wanted for first degree murder and reckless endangerment in Memphis Tennessee. The suspect was tracked to a residence with law enforgement in hot pursuit. Police searced the residence but the suspect could not be located.

As frustration set in, their luck changed. The attic ceiling broke and the suspect came falling from above and into the waiting arms of law enforcement.

“Wilkerson attempted to hide in the attic as the USMS searched the residence; however, he fell through the ceiling,” it said – NPR News. The suspect was not harmed during the fall.
