Shooting in South Memphis leaves 3 teen boys shot

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three teen boys are in the hospital after a shooting at a South Memphis home on Monday morning.

Officers say they responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Kerr Avenue around 11:15 a.m. where two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

All three boys were taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in non-critical condition.

A fourth victim told police that he and his friends were walking on Kerr Avenue and when they turned on Pillow Street a dark-colored vehicle pulled alongside them and fired shots.

MPD says the fourth victim was not shot.
