Local film director rebuilds after losing studio in fire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rising from the ashes. A local film director is rebuilding after his dream went up in smoke in a devastating Highland Heights fire. After months of work, Robert L. Parker has rebuilt his film studio that was destroyed by what the Memphis Fire Department described as arson.

The massive fire happened just two days before Christmas and caused more than $4 million in damage to a strip mall on Summer Avenue. Parker spent countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars building his studio there.

Now, he has put the pieces back together and rebuilt bigger and better than before…
