First measles case confirmed in Tennessee

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) confirmed the state’s first case of measles in 2025.

TDH said the case was confirmed in a middle Tennessee resident. At the time the case was announced, TDH was still investigating the source of the infection.
