Local comedian has street in Frayser named after him

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local comedian and philanthropist was honored this weekend after a street in Frayser was named after him to acknowledge his contributions to the city and commitment to uplifting the community.

In a ceremony hosted by city councilwoman, Dr. Michalyn Easter-Thomas, Beacon Hill Drive between Smith Ridge Road and Mirror Avenue was renamed Mario “Grove Hero” Bradley Way.

Praised by the Memphis City Council for his dedication to “revitalizing his hometown”, Bradley has purchased and restored multiple properties in Frayser…
