SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) is currently investigating the Tennessee Department of Health confirmed the first case of measles in the county in the year 2025.
The person infected with the virus is currently recovering at their home while health officials work to identify anyone else who has been infected, according to a press statement sent by the SCHD.
