Memphis Man Sentenced to 87 Months for Trafficking Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

A Memphis resident, Courtney Davis, 28, has been handed an 87-month prison sentence for his involvement in a drug trafficking operation distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Tennessee, Davis, also known by the aliases Geo and Geo Grape, was implicated in a drug conspiracy along with co-defendant Brian Lackland, aka Stupid Duke, Spooky Duke, Duke, and Homework.

Evidence presented in court outlined that the operation commenced in March 2024, with the duo being part of the Young Mob gang, also referred to as Young Mob Military. The investigation, involving wiretaps authorized by the court, allowed ATF agents and the Memphis Multiagency Gang Unit to intercept multiple conversations between Davis and Lackland, where they were heard discussing the acquisition and distribution of “blues” – pills containing fentanyl made to look like blue 30mg oxycodone tablets, as per the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Tennessee.
