The Tennessee Volunteers’ 19-point loss to the Houston Cougars in the Elite Eight has the men’s basketball program still searching for a Final Four appearance. It was hard for college basketball fans to ignore the Vols’ dismal offensive performance in the Elite Eight.
Tennessee shot just 28.8% from the field and only made 17.2% of the team’s 3-point shots. Fans took to social media to criticize Tennessee’s offensive woes with some rival SEC fans quick to point out that Tennessee is still searching for the team’s first Final Four trip.
