MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man accused of stealing thousands of dollars in beer and energy drinks.
According to court documents, in January of this year, Nicholas Neely, 25, entered the Walmart on Germantown Parkway and began loading a shopping cart with energy drinks and beer.
A worker with Walmart told police that Neely was a ‘habitual shoplifter’ and was known for shoplifting.
On a separate occasion in February of this year, Neely entered the Walmart on Raleigh-Lagrange and once again loaded shopping carts full of beer and energy drinks; during this visit, Neely and another suspect set off a fire alarm as they exited the store…
