6-year-old boy among two shot in Frayser, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 6-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man were injured after shots rang out Sunday afternoon at a Frayser apartment complex, police said.

Memphis Police (MPD) said officers were called to Ridgecrest Apartments on Woodcliff Drive for a shooting around 4 p.m. Sunday. There, they found two people — including a child — had been shot, police said.

MPD said a man suffered serious injuries, while the 6-year-old was rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in non-critical condition and expected to be OK…
