Meteorologists spot tornado on live TV in Memphis

TRUMANN, Arkansas — A possible tornado was spotted by a traffic camera during live weather coverage Wednesday night.

ABC24 was in severe weather coverage just after 6:30 p.m. when meteorologists Trevor Birchett and Kit Thomas switched to a traffic camera in Trumann, Arkansas.

At that moment, a large funnel was spotted in the distance, illuminated at times by lightning and power flashes.
