Shelby County Division of Health Services Director Michelle Taylor pushed back on Memphis Mayor Young’s administration with its handling of xAI in South Memphis .
“Tennessee state law (TCA Title 6, Chapter 54) gives you, as Memphis Mayor, the legal authority to make, edit, or change ordinances to protect air quality,” Taylor said in a letter dated March 26 to Young.
